Inaugural Junior Golf Scholarship Awarded Following Smash for Success’ Flagship Year

WEST PALM BEACH, Florida – Smash GC and Smash for Success, the team’s community-based impact program dedicated to empowering young people through golf, is thrilled to announce Isaac Westbrook as the 2024 Smash for Success scholarship recipient.

After a rigorous selection process evaluated by a judging panel that included Smash GC members Brooks Koepka, Talor Gooch, Graeme McDowell, and Jason Kokrak, Isaac Westbrook's academic achievements and dedication to the values of integrity, discipline, and respect set him apart from other applicants. As a senior at Thurmond High School in Edgefield, South Carolina, Westbrook boasts an impressive 4.6 GPA and is an active member of the school’s golf team. This fall, he plans to attend Clemson University, where he will major in business with the goal of becoming a financial advisor.

"Golf is more than just a game; it's a platform for personal and professional growth," said Smash GC Captain, Brooks Koepka. "Isaac Westbrook exemplifies the spirit and values of the Smash for Success program and we are proud to support him in his academic journey.”

As part of the Smash for Success program, Westbrook will enjoy several unique benefits designed to inspire his future endeavors including a VIP experience at this week's LIV Golf Houston event June 7-9. During the event, Westbrook had the extraordinary opportunity to play in the pro-am alongside Talor Gooch, and spend time with the entire Smash GC team, gaining insights and advice from professional golfers. Isaac's parents will also enjoy the tournament, sharing in their son's accomplishments and experiencing the excitement firsthand. In addition to this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, Westbrook will receive a scholarship to use toward tuition and educational costs.

As the inaugural recipient of the Smash for Success Scholarship, Isaac is expected to return to a LIV Golf tournament next season to share his experiences and insights from his first year at Clemson University, inspiring the next generation of scholarship recipients.
